Fruity Popsicles With Superfood Add-Ins

Very Berry Superfood PopsicleSuperfood Popsicles are another awesome way we avoid eating store-bought ice cream and enjoy a cool, sweet treat all summer long.

We have a recipe for making Chocolate Bliss into a frozen popsicle, but this fruit-based popsicle recipe really has us raving this summer because it’s so customizable and it’s worked great every single time!

Here are two ways we’ve made the fruit popsicle recipe … we encourage you to customize with different types of fruits and the optional add-ins 🙂

Very Berry Popsicles

1 Cup Coconut Milk (the high fat coconut milk in a can – we buy organic)
1 Cup Raspberries (we used frozen)
1/2 Cup Blackberries (we used frozen)
2-4 Tbsp Honey (by taste)

Optional Add-Ins:

  • 1-3 tsp Vitamineral Green (get your greens without noticing any taste! works great with strong berry flavors, especially blueberries)
  • 1 tsp MSM & 1 tsp Vitamin C (for cellular tissue repair)
Blend all ingredients in a high powered blender (we like the Vitamix). Taste it for sweetness (add more honey as needed). Pour into popsicle molds and set in the freezer for about an hour.

When you’re ready to eat a popsicle, run that part of the mold under warm water for a few minutes, gently pulling on and twisting the stick end to loosen it from the mold.

Banana Cinnamon Popsicles

1 Cup Coconut Milk (the high fat coconut milk in a can – we buy organic)
3 Ripe Bananas (ours were already frozen)
1 Tbsp Cinnamon
2 Tbsp Honey (by taste)

Optional Add-Ins:

Blend all ingredients in a high powered blender (we like the Vitamix). Taste it for sweetness (add more honey as needed). Pour into popsicle molds and set in the freezer for about an hour.

When you’re ready to eat a popsicle, run that part of the mold under warm water for a few minutes, gently pulling on and twisting the stick end to loosen it from the mold.

Next on our list to try: Watermelon / Basil / Jalapeno Popsicles! Stay tuned!
