You Can Win Superfood Bowl Ingredients!
My favorite resource for super herbs, Mountain Rose Herbs, has this new line of Epicurean Organic Spices and Oils and they are a DELICIOUS way to upgrade your superfood bowls.
I got to try the Thai Curry organic spice and the Avocado Oil (yummy!) and if you leave a comment on this blog post, you could win the same. I’ll tell you more in a sec … first let me elaborate on how awesome it all is.
Thai Curry Organic Spice
This is a spicy, herby, lemony thai flavor that complements coconut nicely and provides some much required heat to raw foods. I LOVE thai food and so I’m happily adding this spice to almost anything and everything when I get that thai food craving.
This herb mix contains the following ingredients: Organic Garlic, organic Onion, organic Lemon Peel, organic Red Pepper, organic Black Pepper, organic herbs, and organic spices. And it’s available in this beautiful retail bottle or a cost effective bulk refill.
Here are a couple of ways that I’ve used it:
Thai Curry Superfood Bowl
4 tsp Hemp Seeds
1/4 tsp Blue Green Algae (standard in all my superfood bowls for the nutrient value and slightly salty flavor)
Large Dash of Thai Curry Spice
1 Tbsp Coconut Oil (warmed to liquid)
1 Tbsp Coconut Flakes (for crunch)
—
As with all superfood bowls, stir the dry ingredients together first before adding the liquids. Then stir well to make a porridge consistency. Yum!
—
Thai Curry Superfood Soup
4 tsp Hemp Seeds
1/4 tsp Blue Green Algae (standard in all my superfood bowls for the nutrient value and slightly salty flavor)
Large Dash of Thai Curry Spice
1 Tbsp Vitamineral Earth Powder (makes an awesome miso soup flavor)
1 Tbsp Coconut Oil (warmed to liquid)
1 Tbsp Coconut Flakes (they gradually soften like noodles)
1/4 Cup Warm Water
—
Notice that this is a lot like the Thai Curry Superfood Bowl recipe with some added warm water and Vitamineral Earth. Yep, it’s that easy!

Organic Avocado Oil
I LOVE avocados, so of course I was intrigued with avocado oil. Sometimes it’s hard to keep a good avocado around, so it’s nice to have the avocado oil – avocado flavor, and some of the whole avocado benefits, all in a bottle.
—
TIP: If you are having challenges eating your avocados before they go mushy, try making them into a guacamole (mash the avocado with salt and lemon juice) and freezing it. It’s not the same as a fresh avocado, but I’ve saved many an avocado from the compost this way.
—
I also LOVE Fiesta Mole and avocado flavors together, so of course I made a superfood bowl that puts these two together again. Recipe below. You could also use avocado oil in salad dressings or any place you might normally use olive oil.
Avocado Oil & Fiesta Mole Superfood Bowl
4 tsp Hemp Seeds
1/4 tsp Blue Green Algae (standard in all my superfood bowls for the nutrient value and slightly salty flavor)
2 tsp Fiesta Mole Powder
1 Tbsp Avocado Oil
1 apple chopped (optional – adds a nice balance to the salt/savory/dry)
—
As with all superfood bowls, stir the dry ingredients together first before adding the liquids. Then stir well to make a porridge consistency. Yum!

It is a challenge to get good avocados that are not all discolored inside. So Avocado oil sounds delicious ! Thai spice I guess can be used across a variety of dishes.
