Guarana found commercially is cooked at high heat for days to months. This changes its caffeine-like substances from health promoting Super Food Adaptogens into biologically-stressing stimulants which can cause flushes, headaches, heart racing, and irregular heartbeat.
Natural State, cold processed Guarana is a Super Food – nutrient rich, calorie sparse. It's also an Adaptogen – acting as stimulant, regenerator or sleeping agent as is most required given a person's highest internal health priority. Like Pure Vanilla, Guarana amplifies the effects of other Super Foods. It is also high in polyphenols (powerful antioxidants) and saponins which support optimal longevity and immune system strength.
Guarana is extremely rich in minerals and in itself tastes like the rain forest soil where it is grown. Guarana in Cacao (Chocolate) drinks with Pure Vanilla surfaces rich flavors reminiscent of high mountain coffees, maple and exotic berries. Its flavor and energy components are strong, so a little goes a long way.

Recipes Using Guarana
We love Guarana in Chocolate Bliss - it makes it taste a little bit like a mocha and gives just the right amount of energized focus to the morning.

Blend until smooth (works best in a Vita-Mix or other high powered blender). You may also desire to make a thicker smoothie by adding fresh or frozen fruit (we like bananas) and/or activated nuts (cashews or walnuts are particularly yummy). Chill and shake well before drinking. Enjoy!
Blend until smooth (works best in a Vita-Mix or other high powered blender), pour into a gallon-sized sealable plastic container, and then fill the rest up with pure water. Shake well, and then chill.
To make a concentrate for warm drinks, fill your gallon container only to the halfway mark when adding the water. Then you can use half of the chilled concentrate and half warm water each time you serve yourself. Enjoy!
